The 2 stars is just for the office staff and dispensary. However the clinical service was awful. No follow up on blood tests, had to ask receptionist who said “no news is good news!” Never saw the lead GP till after 2 years, saw only Locums, with no medical continuity of my condition and very perfunctory and one particular instance condensing to my condition. Very difficult to get any appointments, as per most surgeries, referred to urgent care despite only requesting a basic consultation. Have now left, good luck to any one who joins!

I have to say this is the best doctors I’ve ever been registered with, it’s never too long to get through on the phone, all the reception staff are friendly, helpful and polite. When I’ve really needed to be seen face to face I have been and the doctors I’ve encountered have all been very personable and proactive….so refreshing :)

Absolutely appalling, a month to wait for an appointment to turn up and to be told you haven’t got an appointment and also no one to take bloods. They don’t care, no wonder people have mental health problems. And if you lose your temper, they have the right to strike you off. I’m seeking to put in a complaint formally. Called surgery on lunch for hour.

It is ok here, doing what they can to sort patients out I think It is not good that M Overton and Somerby is under the same phone number, v long wait for someone to answer the phone, Place very clean staff polite Thank you

all the staff nurses and drs are lovely ! Very professional kind and understanding with top-notch care Been here for nearly 15 years both market Overton and somerby the practices are the same excellent. Especially Dr Ryszard Bietzk! Whoop whoop lol

Nice clean small surgery. Staff are friendly although sometimes can be alittle rude as my husband overheard them talking about me as he was waiting to collect my meds and they didn't realise who he was and they were not quiet about it. Doctors are polite and friendly. I would say the doors would be tricky for wheelchair users and there is no marked disabled parking spaces. All in all nice little surgery and nowhere is perfect.

I’ve recently moved to the area and was advised to join this practise, very glad I did. After becoming really unwell Wednesday which I thought was just a cough, turned out to be a serious issue with my asthma. The receptionist I spoke too knew immediately I needed to be seen and sent me to a respiratory doctor at the hospital, very glad she did as slowly getting better, thank you for what you do and your team.

Used to be excellent. Very dissapointing lately. I wrote a constructive email to practice manager who didn't seem to accept improvements were needed. I did manage to get an appointment with doctor hansford who was very thorough but follow up physio and copd face to face review has not happened.

I was in two minds about contacting the surgery as I wasn’t sure my worries were serious enough however I took the plunge and spoke to one of the nurses Mel who was absolutely brilliant. She organised me some blood tests and went through the results with me, gave me loads of advice and I’m going to see her again in 3 months. I was 100% impressed and as someone who tends to avoid the doctors surgery can’t recommend them highly enough.

Whenever I have phoned staff have always been helpful and friendly. The GPS at market Overton practice go above and beyond in giving the best advice and care. Some of the GPs that I have had the pleasure of hearing from have changed my life for the better so when I’m reading some of these reviews it’s quite sad as the receptionists cannot help everyone at once and neither can the GPS. I always feel smug when I hear story’s from others as I have never had any issues.
